Using Less Single-Use Plastic

- Say goodbye to plastic shopping bags.

   - Take reusable bags with you when out shopping - leave some in the car so that you      always have the option. Choose paper bags over plastic whenever you can.

- Never use single-use plastic dinnerware.

   - There are plenty of compostable and reusable products - whether paper, bamboo or      sugarcane-based. They are infinitely less wasteful and harmful to the environment.

- Replace single-use food storage bags.

   - There are plenty of great eco-friendly food storage options - from reusable silicone      bags and glass storage containers, to beeswax and washable food wraps - they are      long lasting and they keep plastic out of the environment.

- Clean up your laundry and household.

   - Avoid heavy water-based products delivered in large plastic containers - instead,      explore zero-plastic laundry sheets, dishwasher tablets and refillable household      cleaners and personal care products.Avoid plastic milk and water bottles.

- Buy glass-bottled milk and refill your own water bottles at home or   from water fountains, when on the move.

   - Don't forget bathroom recycling.Add a recycling bin and reconsider all the single-use      plastics involved in personal care - explore eco-friendly cotton rounds, floss-picks, Q-     tips and toothpaste tabs and refillables for body wash and shampoos.
