Coca-Cola, as a sponsor of the NCAA Final Four, introduced a third party-audited closed-loop recycling system for its bottles during the event, encouraging fans to dispose of used Coke bottles in dedicated recycling bins. The bottles were then collected, recycled, and quickly turned into new commemorative Final Four bottles for sale on-site. This initiative demonstrates the value of using psorts and concert venues as a way to ediucate consumers on recycling while allowing testing of consumer behavior.
