A WWF survey reveals widespread American concern about plastic pollution (85%). Most support government action to hold corporations accountable and incentivize plastic waste reduction. Banning or taxing single-use plastics is favored by a majority (over 70%). Americans are also highly likely to take personal action (recycling, reducing single-use plastics, choosing recycled products, using reusables) if they believe it makes a difference.
